“Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you.”
― Ralph Lauren
I can’t believe what a whirlwind weekend this was! It was a veritable event bonanza! LOL – I was nominated for the Entrepreneurship award by the British Council Alumni Awards and I’m so thankful and honoured ! It was an incredible night and I caught trips with one of my favourite entrepreneur ladies Ehime Eigbe of Sweet Kiwi ( we were nominated in the same category – how cool is that?)
After that I popped by the AMVCA (Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards) – it’s always an amazing event , and my team and I were also working with Martell Nigeria on the afterparty installation. It was a super fun night!
Unsurprisingly – I opted for my new love – a navy blue bob, put up in a halo braid and a yellow column dress with pearl embellishments. The blue hair is a strange choice I know, but the dress was so feminine and delicate I wanted to edge it up a bit.
I MAY have gone a little overboard, vamping it up further with a dark metallic lip, and a pair of statement earrings. I felt so AMAZING and I couldn’t have been happier with the look. It encapsulates everything I’m ‘feeling’ right now – bright hair, vampy makeup and yellow is one of my favourite colours- so it was a total win for me.
