I must say, i’m quite the nomad these days (insert flicking hair emoji), i’m currently in the hinterlands of Canada. Unfortunately, my life was mostly devoid of sartorial excellence in the winter (a long story involving me sans wardrobe- not the greatest start to the New Year I will admit), so i’ll skip right on to spring fashion.
I can only offer profuse apologies with a small side of a valid reason (moving to Canada, starting a new job), for taking almost half of 2015 off!! Ugh! I frustrate myself, but I promise i’m back for good. Obviously I have some catching up to do, so the next few weeks will feature outfits from my time in Lagos and whatever random ramblings run through my mind. Enjoy!
I like house parties. You obviously have more leeway than a club where they might frown on flats. BUT, i’ll rarely go the super casual route. I like to dress up, so for me it’s finding the balance- Dressed with a casual, ‘off’, element. So when a friend had a big do, I wore this Virgos Lounge top (hey Annie! Stole it from her :)) paired with an H&M skater skirt and white converses. Converses are often my ‘off-element’, I looove them. I’ll wear a nice top and skirt or suit and instead of wearing heels, i’ll throw on converses. In the words of one of my favourites, ‘aspa edgy’.
